Description
Shot in Normandy a few days prior to the 80th Anniversary of DDay.
Person in the photo is my 12 year old (when the photo was taken) son. I originally grabbed and handful of poppies for my son to hold while i took a photo (he's on the spectrum and has a short photo taking shelf life).
After a few shots I decided enough was enough and told him we should head back to the car.
As I started saying that I really appreciated him letting me take his photo I was hit by a hard wind on my back. I turned and saw my son kneeling down returning the poppies to the earth.
