I agree with everyone. Great shot, Yves. (Isn't it nice that flowers don't fly away like birds tend to?)
Terrific shot Yves. The flower sitting amongst the quieter tones of the rock and dead grasses makes a beautiful composition. I love your story and the comparison to the single flower in the next image. Beautifully done.
Thank you for your very appreciated comment Debra. So glad of your words about a composition that is so meaningful for me. Hope we will meet again next april.
A beautiful clump of coltsfoot like this has to be a terrific welcome to spring. You got a really nice angle on the blossoms as they brighten the landscape. This reminds me of the wild crocus that spring up along the roadsides and are usually the first blooms to show that spring has finally arrived out here in the west. Great shot Yves and I love the story that you shared with us too.
Thnak you so much for the very nice comment Heather. One of those photo that just accompany the important text that tel tale about a emotional moment in life.
