Description
A colony of beavers hangs out on the shores of a beach in an Ottawa east-end neighbourhood along the Ottawa River.
This part of the Ottawa River might have been frozen over, but that doesn't stop the beavers from being able to bust through thick ice.
And when they do come out of the water on a -22 C day, their whiskers freeze into mini icicles in mere moments.
