Description
When I first arrived at the area, I could hear the cry of a very agitated Cooper’s hawk nearby. As I got closer, I realized there was a barred owl in the adjacent tree being harassed, doing its best to remain unfazed as it tried to avoid the vocal and displeased hawk. After it flew to another tree a short distance away, I captured this image with its wings outstretched as it struggled slightly to balance on top.
