Description
I was out for a drive and something caught my eye. I quickly pulled over and scanned the rocky hillside. I saw about a dozen of these Grey-crowned Rosy-Finches. I have never seen them before and according to a birding app, rare in our area. I was so happy I noticed them flying, because looking at the hillside, they were hard to pick out.
