Great shot of this one. They are so hard to see and when you do they can be a real challenge to get a decent shot. You were spot on with this one in every way, capturing all the detail in the bird as you were able to isolate it from the snowy surroundings. Awesome image

Thanks, Debra. Our guide explained that, this time of year, the use their camouflage to hide, rather than flying away. Made it easier to creep up on them....once you spotted them in the first place.
