Description
I was out running some errands today, without my camera. (mistake #1, always take the camera) When I decided to stop by the mill pond here in Hespeler. Just to observe what, or if there was any activity. I had been standing under the willows for several minutes watching the many geese and ducks, when I heard a close by screeching. (mistake #2, don't just look where your going, look all around you) Looking up, I was surprised to see this Osprey not fifteen feet away on a branch above. I slowly, backed away behind the willows. Ran to my car, and tore off to retrieve my camera from home, in the hopes I could return before it took off. Luckily, I live close by, and the Osprey was still there when I returned.
