Description
Driving down a road at Mudphy's Point Provincial Park, we encountered a mama white-tailed deer with her baby. As soon as they saw us, the baby hunkered down right next to the road in the ditch. We could hardly find it and once we did, we snapped off a couple of pictures and left them alone. I learned that fawns do not give a scent so predators can't find them if they lay perfectly still.
