I notice a colour difference that male Westerns over the winter months are more colourful than during the nesting season into fall. Camera was a Canon 7D Mk II with the Canon 500mm F4 Prime lens on a tripod. Settings....Aperture 4.5, speed 1/1000 sec and ISO was 640.
