It’s obvious Yves that you are going to have fun and get some wonderful shots with your lens and the converter. The detail in the sparrow is amazing and the softness of the cloud on the blue sky is dreamy. Well done.

Thanks for the nice comments Debra. I am just discovering the special colours and details it gives. No croping and no light correction was done here. Under full sun I am forced to play within the limits of ISO 500-1600 and the aperture cannot go under F11. A good shot under poor lighting or very fast object may be a real chalenge.

This little beauty stands out so nicely against the sky tones perched among these attractive branches. You captured some excellent detail here together with that remarkable bend in the tail. Very cool capture Yves.

Yves Langlois

Thank you very much Heather. I am quite impress with the quality of details and colours with the 800mm at close range.

Jane LeBlanc

The bright blue sky in the background really makes this photo. Nice work, Yves.

Yves Langlois

Agree with you Jane. I like also the white cloud in the bottom left corner and the sharp details of the black cones in the back.

Clifford Dupuis

What a a great shot of this one. Nice attention to detail and isolation

Yves Langlois

Thanks Clifford. No croping on that one Clifford. I intend to use the 400mm with the 2x and the bird was not far.

Yves Langlois

Thanks Clifford. No croping on that one Clifford. I intend to use the 400mm with the 2x and the bird was not far.

Description
Don't worry, I confirm that the tail is not broken. He realy can make that 90 degrees move.
