Talk about picture perfect! As Yves stated, the evergreens really enhance this beautiful pair in a great pose. You get a real sense of the bond they share in this image.. and it is really beautiful. I got a similar shot of a mule deer doe with what I believe was her grown up fawn last summer, it's one of my favorite captures. Shots like this one are really special Debra..

Thank you Heather for your kind feedback, it is very much appreciated. There was something about the gentleness to this shot that I really liked. I would love to see your shot of the mule deer.

Amazing shot Debra. Love those two close by. Greatly enhence by the green evergreens. The zoom option shows a perfect lighting that britten the white pattern in theyr face. I confirm you'r an artist for deer shots.

Thank you Yves I really appreciate your kind comments. This is not our typical Manitoba landscape in December. Usually we have a lot more snow on the ground.

Still a nice photo of the two of them.

Thanks Jane, something about the mood of this shot that I liked.

Description
The younger doe on the left had been nuzzling her mother. I was hoping they would continue to show emotion while I took a photo but they had stopped by the time I was ready to take the shot.
