I like how you caught the buck stomping his foot and judging by his expression he means business. They have a remarkable number of ways of communicating among themselves and it's nice to see a photo like this. He stands out very well against the grass and trees here. A great shot and an interesting one too Debra.

Thanks very much Heather your feedback is always appreciated. The do believe there was another buck in the bush. I was behind the car again staying hidden as much as possible. This buck gave me several opportunities to get a picture with his hoof in the up position.

Very nice clean shot Debra, well done. The detail along with the composition are spot on

Perfect light Debra. This buck look healthy with beautyful antlers. I like the framing you choose with few boulders and white trees in the back. Great picture Debra.

Thanks very much Yves your feedback is always appreciated. I have to thank Mother Nature for giving me the nice lighting and composition. I just tried to make the best of the opportunity without spooking the couple.

Description
The doe was about 100 feet behind this buck grazing on grass. He stood looking towards the forest and stamping his foot as if to warn off another buck. He did not take his eyes off his target at all to look over to see what I was doing. He wasn't all that far away from the image I took of the buck in back lighting an hour earlier.
