Love the way he's looking at you. The fence adds to the composition, I think. Nice.

Debra Plett

Would have been nicer if he was on this side of the fence. He was quite skittish and not about to come any closer. Thanks for the feedback Jane.

Yves Langlois

Nice capture Debra. A very beautyful buck indeed and he sure look like the king of this territory. Thanks for the continuing story about your deer friends.

Debra Plett

Thanks Yves always appreciated. I think it is the height of the rut right now. I have some more pictures to put up but I don’t want to post too much too quickly.

Heather Mellon

He looks very much in his element here and you caught him in a great pose. Very nice composition and detail and I like how the image tells a story. Well done Debra.

Debra Plett

Thanks Heather. There is a lot of deer movement in the park right now. With the bucks you don’t have a lot of time to get the picture.

Clifford Dupuis

great shot and story to explain his interest in hanging about.

Debra Plett

Thank you Clifford. Sometimes you just don’t get a chance to get both the doe and the buck. I lucked out here.

Description
I managed to get the picture of this buck on Monday. As far as I have seen he is still hanging around the field behind the fence line. He is keeping close tabs on the doe in the picture I took on Sunday.
