This little alien baby bird could belong to the Vesper Sparrow family Yves. The mottled breast feathers with a dark V at the top point in that direction but it's hard to tell for sure from this viewpoint alone. If he is then he'll be a promising singer too since these birds have one of the prettiest songs out there. Very nice shot btw and I enjoyed the narrative too.
