Such nice eye for detail in this one Heather. And yes the bubbles are a real bonus to the shot

Such a beautiful artistic shot Heather and I bet a very special moment for you. I agree with Yves the water droplets and touch or orange really draw one’s attention. Nicely composed and captured Heather.

Thank you so much for your comments Debra. It was a lovely photo opportunity and was certainly memorable for me. It's not a shot I would have ever imagined getting of a trumpeter so close up. I only wish I could have taken time to ensure that it fit fully into the frame but probably would have missed the bubbles if I had.

I like very much that unusual pose of your favorite bird. Great that he (she) did a little twist so you have a side view of the head. Those bubbles lead staight to the beak with its red stripe. Nicely done.

Thank you so much for your comments Yves. This one was almost too close to get a focus on right beneath me at dockside. And it's the kind of photo I never expected to get from a trumpeter, being the cautious kind of birds they are. It's definitely one of my favorites now.

Description
Looking down from the dock I caught one of the adult swans taking a breather. I love the pose and the bubbles caught my eye..
