Brilliant capture Debra. It starts with a great looking nest and evolves into a motion capture with her about to take flight against a softly clouded sky.. her wingspan is incredible. So beautiful in every detail.

Thanks Heather. Mom sticks pretty close to junior in the early stages of him learning to fly.

I agree with Yves, again.

Thanks Jane.

Thank you Jane.

Agree with you Debra, impressive wing span. You must appreciate the 600mm for those far shot. Frame the way I like with good lighting.

Thank you Yves. Yes I really like the 200 to 600 lens. The internal zoom is amazingly fast to get from 200 to 600. Even at 600 I still have to crop the image to bring it in closer.

Description
The female Osprey is quick to leave the nest and make sure that her chick lands on the pole okay and is in no danger. I liked this picture as it really shows how big their wing span is over the nest.
