Yves Langlois

Thank you Jeff. Yes, since I wanted to stay as far as possible, I needed all my experience to make that see through shot. But the eye contact we got worth it all the way.

Debra Plett

What a wonderful shot and moment for you to experience Yves. The little one is giving you what I call their shy pose while still keeping an eye on you. Love how you captured him amongst all the vegetation, great focusing. Very nice narrative as well. Great keepsake.

Yves Langlois

Thanks Debra. He was with the mother and I first effraid them. She ran left but he ran to the right. I rather not take the shot than effraid him more. So decide to take the shot from very far and crop. Hyden behind bushes I lowered my body to the ground, took the shot as fast as possible and walk away for them to reunite.

Very nice use of lighting and focus on this beautiful fawn Yves. Encounters like this with wildlife are always awe inspiring and very exciting to photograph. You captured the moment beautifully and I appreciated the narrative too.

Yves Langlois

Thanks Heather. I love the colours and overall texture of the elements in that shot. The lighting was somehow very special (to me). With the great imagination Life gave me that eye contact tels so many things to me. Graceful moment.

Clifford Dupuis

Indeed Yves, this shot is awe inspiring and so very well captured by you. The composition and the attention to detail are remarkable. Well done

Yves Langlois

Thank you very much Clifford. Just to say that the little guy was standing in the only well lighted spot around. A beautyful sun at the golden hour. A simple hazard, really?

Description
Any personal encounter with a complex living entity is an appreciated gift. So easy for me to imagine that Mother Nature manipulated the deer with a desire to go to that spot on the trail. Also manipulated me by adjusting my speed in order for that encounter to take place in that exact point of space and time in the hole univers. Your missing the facts, a too long story. Let's say t'was inspiring. So I sing to myself - What a wonderful world.
