Determined he was. He didn’t even take a second to glance over at me, just focused on the doe. I don’t think he would win in a battle against the bigger buck though. Thanks very much for your comments Heather.

Description
On the edge of the bush the little buck stood firm with excitement and determination. The big buck enveloped by poplar, bur oak and spruce trees quietly stalked the doe. The doe paused, listened and then bolted...the forest was awakened. Down one antler and refusing to yield the little buck was in pursuit of the doe again.
