Beautiful capture of Casper with the rippled reflection and her cubs in the background. Great shot Jenny. She's a beautiful bear and obviously a very successful mother.. I hope this kind of tracking isn't a threat to their future, it's not as if life wasn't already tough enough for them.

Description
This is Casper, a Grizzly sow about eleven years old. Two Yearling Cubs in the background. Last spring she was trapped in a barrel trap and quickly tranquillized as she had two new Cubs. The Cubs were stressed of course. But the powers that be want to track her for two full years to track how she is with Caribou. This collar is off next year with another barrel trap and tranquiller. I am on the fence with this. I hate the stress on the bears, but..... Right now she has her eye on a spawning Sockeye Salmon.
