Heather Mellon

You've captured his expression so well here and the foreground detail adds to the tentative mood of the image in a big way. I agree with Jeff.. 'you got him just right'. Great shot Yves!

Yves Langlois

Thank you Heather.

Jeff

you got him just right detailing color

Yves Langlois

Thank you very much Jeff

Debra Plett

Very nice pose you can definitely see that the Eagle is watching the sky for the bigger threat. I like the clean simple background/ composition with the eagle perched atop one branch. This gives the image a lot of strength and mystery as to what might happen next.

Yves Langlois

I love that image for about the same reason as you. I took many shot of the juvenile atop his branche (different poses) but that one is really the one that says - Oh Oh, The big guy is comming.

Clifford Dupuis

Great shot. His expression that you have captured so well says it all. The DOF is also excellent

Yves Langlois

Thank you Clifford. This is the juvenile bald eagle mentionned in the last week story on the big bald eagle.

Description
This juvenile bald eagle would like to establish in this part of the Magog river. He looks anxious because this domain belong to a pretty big bald eagle who is comming after him from the opposite side of the river.
