I especially like the point of view on this capture. It's nice to see how the wings and tail feathers work together in landing mode and the detail of the shot is really good. Very nice compo too.

Thanks Heather. I like that shot for the same reason. For us it looks easy, but to be successful and not hurting many moves needs to be precise and well controled.

Description
Big bald eagle about to perch. Notice the wing tips flexible long feathers. This shot was taken in burst mode (which for my camera is 1/500 - f8) . Sharpness is not as good but at least it gives fair shots. Following the action in usual single mode shooting (1/1500 - f8) would have probabily result in no good shots at all.
