There's something really special about watching the big birds soar across a windy sky and you've captured that so well here. These shots aren't easy to get either.. well done Debra.

Debra Plett

Thanks Heather, I was having fun trying to keep up with them and the sky had a lot of character in it that day.

Jenny Stevens

I agree with Yves. The birds stand out so well against that sky. Well done.

Clifford Dupuis

Very nice Debra, the contrast in this pic is excellent in portraying these two birds.

Yves Langlois

Beautyful shot Debra. The sky here is magical to have the birds stands out. Like so much the compo with the bird on the line between white cloud and the blue sky. Good story too. Many reason for those feathers. They are replaced more than I thought first.

While I was trying to get a little closer to the juvenile Bald Eagle he took to the sky and chased after I think was his mother. They both had tattered wing feathers not sure if that is normal for this time of year or if our windy summer had been hard on the birds.
