Hi Yves, it surely does resemble the coronavirus with the spikes. I think this is a type of buttonbush flower. very nice composition and light.
Well, I am quite proud of that macro shot. Walking the trail, some will not notice the insinificant little flower on the ground. This is the job of the photographer to make a star out of almost anything. They were three of them. I Choose that one for the dark background and the two leaves in front. Of course, a sharp focus was a must.
Very nice composition and focus in this interesting flower head. It certainly does resemble the coronavirus but this one is much more attractive and no doubt a lot less dangerous too. Great shot Yves.
Thanks Heather. Not so sure that this one is not dangerous, ask the blackbird in the preceding photo. But, of course, my imagination may be in the overdrive mode and nothing is real. One thing is sure... the blackbird is in big trouble. :) :)
very nice capture with excellent DOF to show the isolated subject in its environment along with an amusing story. Nicely done
Thank you Clifford. From a distance the bird look quite weird. Through the 400mm I realise it was a sick bird. I felt sad. Few minutes later, walking the treil, I noticed the flower. I made a link between the two.
