There is a lot of emotion in this shot and your story Yves. I can only hope that beautiful little bird is one of the lucky ones to reach adulthood. Very striking image nicely captured Yves.

Thank you Debra, Because you care here is an update. I am pretty sure I saw that warbler yesterday. same place, riding on the same rail. Wings are good enough to be used and the tail is half way through,

Debra Plett

Thx for update, glad to hear that he is doing ok.

Heather Mellon

Very nicely captured, excellent composition and detail and there is something very special about the pose you caught him in. What a captivating little guy he is and I hope he makes out okay.

Yves Langlois

Thanks so much Heather. This is an exemple of the payback doing photography. Discovers new things, learn better the nature I am made of. I am sure he will be fine. I wish I could make a film about the way he get through that period successfully. How he eats, how he avoid the dangers, all that. Hope Mother nature will give me that opportunity.

Jenny Stevens

Clifford it so correct about their vulnerability out of the nest. Good luck little one. Amazing colours Yves.

Yves Langlois

Thanks Jenny. I am not sure how they do it but one thing is sure, the marsh is full of warblers. So most of them go through succesfully.

Clifford Dupuis

This is an awesome shot of this little one, great detail colours and composition all to compliment your story line of their vulnerability at this time in their life. Well executed

Yves Langlois

Thank you very much for the nice comments Clifford. The ways of nature are sometime hard to accept, but there is no other ways. So keep on smiling and enjoy life.

Description
Nature is actualy loaded with all kind of newly born growing up fast. Very hard to identify at that stage. The beak point out to a warbler. Many birds are in a very dangerous situaton for few days. That one is not protected in the nest. He ride around to feed on his own but he can't fly yet. Wings are not fully grown and the tail is yet to come. Bad days for Tweety bird.
