Michael Collier

Beautiful capture!

Jenny Stevens

Thank you Michael. You too have a love of bears I see.

Yves Langlois

Super close-up Jenny. Fur details are just amazing, specialy around the face. The eye contact is gentle,. like if he wants to give you a big hug. Like very much the close framing.

Jenny Stevens

Hi Yves. Yes, he was close - about four meters away. I could not get the whole bear in the frame.... Got the right end though. Thanks so much.

Jenny Stevens

He actually was very curious but not threatening. One gorgeous bear. I do thank you Yves.... more to come.

Debra Plett

Love the eyes and the glance he is giving you. He doesn’t look like he is too concerned about having to move quickly. Wonderful shot Jenny.

Jenny Stevens

He was very generous with his time with us. No particular hurry. He was actually extremely serene. Thank you Debra.

Jeff

Nices one of him good detalig

Jenny Stevens

Hey thanks Jeff.

Wayne Duke

Filled the frame, love the look he is giving you.

Jenny Stevens

I had no choice as I could not get all of him in the frame. I question using the 500 PF in The Khutzeymateen. The Grizzlies often move towards you as this one did. Beauty of a bear.

Description
This was taken in The Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Estuary. At low tide there is sedge grass everywhere for the bears, but as the tide comes in, these mounds of sedge grass become submerged. As a result, the Grizzlies swim to shore. This handsome fellow is out of time.
