what an awesome perspective Yves on the world we live in. Great dialogue and great pic nicely composed to support your story
Thank you so much Clifford. I am not used to landscapes and sceneries. I expect to do more of them this summer. You are right. Usualy the story comes looking at the photo. For this one all the meanings came while looking at the sunrise. I then took the shot to accompany the story.
An inspiring view of the juxtaposition of our man made world and the natural world as seen from your perspective Yves. It also suggests an interesting link back to ancient times and the special meaning that the solstice held for them as it still does in today's world. Beautifully photographed and thought provoking, plus a welcome reminder of the summer to come with its bountiful photography potential. Enjoy!
Your thoughts on the subject are so beautyful Heather. Throught my long life I developped the habbits of putting a lot of meanings in everyting that surrounds me. Needed my life to be more beautyful, more meaningful. I am a writer too and every phrase contain those meaningful thoughts. Don't need thousands of followers. Just a few that can tel why they appreciate my work is making my day.
The beauty of the rising sun is always breathtaking. You have captured a special moment here Yves, where nature and civilization merge under the intense warm colours of a new day. Where a photographer looks forward to documenting nature in all her glory and sharing it with the rest of the world. Enjoy your summer Yves.
Thanks Debra. Glad I touch you with thoughts of my own describing the shot. Unusual shot. More comfortable with Nature but I will try to present more cities and people shots this summer.
