Description
My hubby and I ventured to Elliott Lake today and were successful finding the Canada Jay. Actually we found three of them which was a thrill! For eBird this is a LIFER!!!!! Yahoo. In University, I went on a four day canoe and portage through Minnesotta before I was seriously into birding and photography. Back then, we called them Whiskey Jacks and they would swoop down while we were eating at the campfire and try and steal your food. I wish I had pictures of them landing on our heads!!!! They were quite bold and hungry!!! A great day in Elliott Lake, January 8, 2022
