Description
This image was shot last summer. I was at the cottage with family and friends. We were all at the water swimming and splashing and making a lot of noise. A great blue heron flew in and landed along the shoreline perhaps 50 feet or so away. I was a bit surprised at having one land so close. I trained my camera on it shooting a few pics including this one.
