Agree very much with Yves, great timing on catching the beautiful pose of the male and the action by the female. Perfect focus…beautifully captured Heather.

Thank you Debra. I haven't had an opportunity like this in several years so it was a special treat to capture them out in the open again. They usually stay close to the ash trees or in the bush nearby.

Like that one too. Meaningful pose of the male looking back at the female (I presume) Great lighting of the male that stands out well and just the bright orange head of the female.

Thank you Yves. I love how they interact with one another and keep in constant contact with one another. They're interesting birds to watch and fun to photograph.
