Nice compo Debra. The deer is just big enough in the frame. Interesting that its colour match the dark grey of the deep forest in the back. Like very much that the head is in the orange split line between the grasses and the deep forest with few poplars.
Thank you Yves I was hiding behind my car and didn’t want to move out and scare him so I am lucky that things lined up the way they did. The deer blend in so well with the background it can be difficult to spot them first thing in the morning. Have you noticed things not working right with the website.
Very handsome buck, nicely framed by the white poplars and fallen tree. The autumn gold hues add just the right touch of colour to a beautiful portrait. Great shot, Debra.
I was lucky that he stood in this clearing that still had a bit of character with the fallen tree and poplars behind him. No brush to deal with. thanks Heather for checking out the images and all your feedback.
