I so agree with Yves' comment.. and this image is another great example of that. He's a very photogenic crow as they often are. That pose, the water bath and vibrant background colors make this a delightful image, Harold.
There are so many looks to crows and ravens, Heather. Sometimes I try to bring out the texture of the feathers, other times it's about bringing out some of the many colours that they show. This time the water helped to bring out texture and contrast by accentuating the light coming over him from above and behind.
Love that shot Harold. Details of the wet feathers, the feets in the water, and that amazing background. You are very talented at composing those nice shots Harold. By the way. I tried a couple of time to reply to you on the second one of my photos but it doesn't accept. I will try later.'
Thanks a lot, Yves! I appreciate your comment. I'll check out that photo to see if your reply went through.
Very nice composition and details in the Crow Harold. He has all the comforts of home. Have you given him a name?
He seems to be happy here, Debra. He's been hanging around for a couple of weeks now. I have named an eagle because she's been around foe quite a few years now. She's on her second mate. I had named the first mate but something happened to him as he stopped coming. I haven't named her new mate yet nor the crow or the buck. If they continue to show up I may give them a name.
