He stands out very nicely against the soft muted background framed by the green leaves. Great focus and composition together with a lovely pose from this little song sparrow. This is a great shot Yves! These birds have a melodic and rather complex song that is very pleasing to the ear.
Quite proud of that one Heather. I am getting better at it. Agree with you about their melodic song. Many times I don't recognise a song and I think it's a bird I never seen. Look for it to find the usual sparrow. They are never far always by my side, like an old friend.
Crisp clean shot Yves with branches making a nice 'natura' frame. Well done!. Lots of 'sparrow' like birds here but they don't sit still for very long.
