My wife and I travelled to Algonquin Provincial Park for her birthday. We were hiking along a loop trail when we spotted this wolf ahead of us on the trail! When I started taking photos, it started walking towards us. I believe we stumbled upon a kill it was protecting. Once in a lifetime experience for us! I have been backpacking in the park for 34 years and have never seen a wolf, I have heard them countless times over the years but this encounter was something I will never forget!!
