Beautiful capture of these awesome flocks. They show very nicely against the soft sky tones here and no doubt it was exciting to hear them too.. noisy but nice!

Interesting shot Debra. I like the piling up of colors from the bottom brown to the blue sky. And you got just the right timing to have the crowd of geese in the white portion of the picture. Nice, nice.

Thanks Yves, I hadn’t planned it that way. I was looking the other direction...heard the noise and took a quick picture. Lucky shot that the geese were in the white section of the clouds.

Thanks Jeff, during migration thousands of birds pass through Oak Hammock Marsh daily.

Description
Looking out over the marsh hundreds of Canada Geese lifted up and took flight. It was early afternoon and the geese had rested and refueled and were moving on to the next leg of their journey.
