Description
The phenomenon is produced by tiny single-celled organisms called dinoflagellates, which when agitated, produce bioluminescence as an escape response to startle their potential predators. The effect is also produced with the force induced from waves, slashes, or from moving objects. Grateful to have been in the right place at the right time to see what you'd assume to travel to a much more exotic location to witness!
