Description
I took this shot of a male Mute Swan preening from the shoreline at Zwick's Park in Belleville. I have the camera on a tripod set low in the rocks so that the lens is only about a foot off the water. I like this shot because I was able to get in close enough to see the detail in the neck feathers while still getting the whole Swan in the shot. I also like the relaxed pose that reminds me of some Mr. Cool leaning to one side watching the world rush on by.
