Thank you very much Heather. For the last 5 years as member of Can.Geo I did a huge number of shots. Out of that is a fair number of really good shots. Out of it are two shots that are (for me) more than beautifull, both touches me deeply for what they are, for what they means for me. This is one of the two. I just can't believe I did that one.
that is a good one you have some good shots 125 you had good luck at that speed no movement right on with settings i do the in the evening they sit still i like my 150/ 500 my best friend its hard to hold for me i only have one good arm but i doing
Thank you Jeff. I was lucky that mother nature put that big dragonfly just there. and I am quite proud that I did not fail to get the result it deserve. Your a hero Jeff. Manipulating a 100-500 with one good arm is hell of a job. On my last walk at the Drummond dam I tried, just to see. Your shots have an extra value now... that's for sure.

Thank you Debra. My great success here is the depth of field.. With my 100mm macro I never been able to get the complete body and wing sharp focus. There was always a part that was not. I used my 100-400mm. Specialy at the angle I was shooting I was sure not to succeed. I put the apperture to F18 and took a chance. At F18 the speed drop to 1/125s (the ISO was 100) . That mean no move, no wind, nothing. Mother nature cooperate on that one.
