Super shot Debra. It is nice you'r back with news from the osprey family. Composition is good. you kept the birds big enough for me to see interesting details. The predator eyes are sharp focus and impressive. The two wings of the female make her an élégant pose. I also notice that the beak of the male is more developped and more curved. I like the touch of orange in the nest wich well balance the dense blue sky.

Thank you Yves for your feedback much appreciated. I was glad to see the couple together. I will check again in a couple of days to see if I hear chirping coming from the nest.

Thank you Harold for the feedback. Not sure how the eye size compares to a bald eagles I will have to read up on that.

Description
This year has been a bit of a challenge capturing both the male Osprey and the female Osprey in the nest at the same time. I believe the male is having to travel further this year to catch the amount of fish they need to have a successful nest. I feel lucky that they were both in the nest the other day when I stopped by for a visit. The female (right) was busy eating, she mostly had her head down plucking pieces of fish. I could not tell if she was feeding a chick or not. I did not hear any chirping noises and the nest is now so deep that f there is a chick(s) in the nest it will be a while before I am able to see the chick(s) poking their heads up above the twigs. The male (left) appeared to be very tired. Most of the pictures I took he sat with his eyes closed. I was hoping he would fly from the nest but he had more patience than I did that day.
