Description
This photos was taken in Salmon Arm BC, one of the few places where Grebes nest in BC. The grebes often get low in the water, and start to throw water with their beaks. If everything works they then get to an upright position and start to run across the water, most frequently in pairs, sometimes in a trio, and sometimes solo.
