Description
The female Osprey hovered above my head and took a closer look at me before returning to the nest. Pretty sure she was not just stretching her wings. Nesting Ospreys will defend the immediate area around their nest. Next time I will set up a little further back from the nest. Sorry that I didn't get the shot of her lifting out of the nest a second or two earlier.
