Description
I followed the blue heron while he was hunting and I watched him nab the chipmunk. He walked towards the water with the chipmunk in his mouth, all the while the poor chipmunk was squirming. The blue heron proceeded to drown the chipmunk. I couldn’t watch that. Later I found the heron pruning his feathers in the sun, with a full belly.
