Description
On our way back from hiking this spring my wife and I found a mother bear with her new cub. It was near dusk and tough to see the bears between branches until they decided to lay down to rest. Mom has survived many obstacles including being hit by a car when she was a yearling so we could not have been more excited to find her as a first time mom. It has been an emotional year watching this special family and I hope we can follow them both for years to come.
