Merlin and the Waxwing

Description
My wife saw this bird as we were driving in a residential neighbourhood in Calgary. It was at a bus stop right in front of a school. I turned around and parked my car and then started taking pictures while moving slowly towards the bird. It paused several times to look at me but continued with its meal of a waxwing. At the end of my photo shoot I drove away and the bird was still on its perch finishing its meal. I took more graphic photos but figured this was an appropriate wildlife image for a family audience.
