Description
A family of great horned owls has been living in the forest behind our house since at least the spring and we hear them calling most nights. I decided this morning I was going to track them down... They spotted me first and flew away but I followed their path. After hiking through some thick forest plants, success - parent and baby. The baby was quite curious about my activities. Took some shots as quickly as I could so not to upset their routine. Thank you owl gods!
