Description
Barred Owls are quite rare in southwestern Ontario. I found this one at Rondeau Provincial Park while conducting a Christmas Bird Count in mid-December. It is still present, although not seen with any frequency as it moves around and can be quite invisible. It has been enjoying a steady diet of squirrels.
