Thanks Martin :) Right now I am reading a book on the area where this photo was taken: "Gerry Get Your Gun." It is about Gerry Bracewell - the first licenced female hunting guide in British Columbia. I am only a few chapters in and it sure is a good read. Last year when I was hiking up in the mountains I met this guy in a cabin who says she is still around, so I will have to try and pay her a visit. She runs a wilderness adventure operation, and her book says she welcomes visitors! Job and I will have to go and say hi :) Thanks again!

Love the contrast between the snow covered mountains and the flames of the campfire.. and everything in between. This image draws the viewer in so beautifully. I agree with Yvan that it would be a perfect selection for photo of the week!!
