Description
Heading north, Ellesmere Island is one of the last islands in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago before reaching the North Pole; to say it is remote is a vast understatement. Mysterious and beautiful, only a small handful of people each year are fortunate enough to explore the interior of this stark landscape. Here, wilderness guide Micheil Cameron Hill traverses a 130km self-supported hike around the Ad Astra Ice Cap, a journey of about two weeks.
