Description
The estuary in The Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary is tide controlled. You can only manoeuver the channels by Zodiac at medium to high tide, as you can get trapped. The tides are 4 to 6.5 meters and the tide is going out in this shot leaving the bear higher than us. It is strange to look up at a grizzly. He would wake up, slowly look around and go back to sleep.
