Very nice capture Jacqueline..... we have seen more of these owl's in my area this winter too.
I have heard they are moving south this winter because of a lack of food for them in the north.They will head back north in the spring.
Captured this shot near Lawrencetown beach, Nova Scotia. The way he looked I could just imagine him laughing at me, saying I'm where? Nova Scotia? That's a long way from home!
