Description
I was out in my hunting blind this afternoon after taking photographs of small songbirds. Cardinals, robins and starlings. From behind the hide. I heard a shriek from behind the hide and opened up the viewing panel to see what was going on. A juvenile sharp shinned hawk had gotten a hold of a starling. This image is special capturing the connection of both the prey and the predator. Many think nature photography is romantic but there is also a dark side to nature. www.naturephotoexpeditions.com
